I wanted to say how awesome you were on that day. Stuck for hours in the car, water up to the doors, giant sinkholes, making me laugh to stop me worrying about our dog and the thought of our house all broken and covered in silt and sludge. You stopped me replaying in my head all i had seen in cashel mall. Then helping me trudge through the mud because we couldn’t even get to my street. Drinking warm corona and helping clean up through those nasty aftershocks. So my respect to you for all of that.

Sit down and decide what you want to do over the next 3-6 months and then set goals on achieving it. Could be anything; lose weight, do a half marathon, bike down Mt Egmont without touching your brakes, teach Alex how to do your job and use him as a work slave, change jobs … whatever, just pick something. Bit hard when you are by yourself but on the flipside, you have no distractions.
